Reflection Five: GRATITUDE
Sometimes it's easy to forget how blessed we are and how much there is to be grateful for. To have Gratitude, means to be thankful -noticing the small things in life and by acknowledging everything you have received so far in your journey. It allows you to shift your focus from what your life lacks into abundance.
Psychological and behavioral research shows that practicing Gratitude daily significantly enhances day to day life.
Benefits include:

- Strengthens relationships
- Improves emotional and physical health
- Reduces stress
THREE STEPS TO BEING MORE GRATEFUL:
STEP ONE: Be Mindful- Sit with your thoughts, reflect on your day and allow your mind to open up to every little thing you are blessed for.
STEP TWO: Keep a Gratitude journal - Add to it daily and allow yourself to notice new things each day. By doing this you'll be able to keep track and remind yourselves of all the positives in your life!
STEP THREE: Express Gratitude- Let someone know you love them and appreciate them This not only makes their day a little brighter but also increases your own levels of happiness in the long term!
