Badass South Asian Women Series for South Asian Heritage Month

This self-initiated project was done in time for South Asian Heritage Month UK (18th July-17th August).

In the South Asian community it is rare that everyday women are celebrated for their achievements big and small. For this series, I interviewed and showcased some ‘Badass South Asian Women’ from an array of different backgrounds and fields (fashion, photography, psychology and lots more!) about themselves and their businesses. The aim for this series was to celebrate the achievements of women in my own South Asian community and also to offer advice and guidance to younger girls in the community that identity as both South Asian and British.
